411 Search®

Directory assistance with automatic call completion. An operator will assist you when you request numbers, addresses and information for anything from restaurants and movies to the nearest florist. Simply press 4-1-1 and SEND from your handset. $1.99 per call plus airtime.

Rates and features may vary when your phone’s banner displays “Extended Network” or “Roaming”.

 

Basic Voice Mail

Voice Mail takes a caller’s message when you can't answer the phone. You will receive a message-waiting indicator to let you know that a message has been left for you. Basic Voice Mail includes:

  • 20 messages
  • 3 minute maximum per message
  • 21-day retention

For more capacity, you should consider signing up for Premium Voice Mail.

Voice Mailboxes not initialized within 60 days (45 days in some markets) of feature activation will be canceled.

 

Call Forwarding

Forward your calls to another phone number, including your home or office number. Your wireless phone will not ring until you deactivate the service. Airtime applies to all forwarded/transferred calls. Toll, long distance and additional charges may apply, depending on the number to which the calls are forwarded.

 

Call Waiting

This feature lets you know when another caller is trying to reach you while you’re on another call. You will hear a short tone. After you hear the Call Waiting tone, you’ll have approximately 30 seconds to answer before the second caller hears a standard message or is forwarded to your Voice Mailbox. If you answer the call, airtime will apply to both calls.

 

Caller ID/Caller ID Blocking

Caller ID allows you to see the caller's phone number before you take the call. Caller ID may display the number of the person calling on your wireless phone (for all unblocked numbers). It may also display the name of the person if you’ve stored it in your phone’s memory.

 

Caller ID Blocking allows you to block your number from being displayed through Caller ID, and can either be done permanently or temporarily.

 

Caller ID is not available on all calls, on all equipment or in all areas.

  • 5 numbers with any Nationwide Single Line Plan with 900 or more Anytime Minutes.

No Answer / Busy Transfer

Text Messaging

Fun, easy way to stay in touch. Send and receive text messages of up to 160 characters. $0.20 for messages received and $0.20 (per recipient) for messages sent. Bundle plans also available.

Push to Talk
Push to Talks calls may be made with other Verizon Wireless Push to Talk subscribers, and only from the National Enhanced Services Rate and Coverage Area. A Push to Talk call is terminated by pressing END or will automatically time out after twenty (20) seconds of inactivity. While you are on a Push to Talk call, voice calls received will go directly to Voice Mail. When you are on a voice call, you cannot receive a Push to Talk call. You cannot prevent others who have your wireless phone number from entering you into their Push to Talk contact list. Only one person can speak at a time during Push to Talk calls. When using your phone keypad to make a Push to Talk call, you must enter the 10-digit phone number of the called party. Your Push to Talk service cannot be used for any applications that tether your phone to computers or other devices for any purpose. Push to Talk-capable phone and calling plan required. If you switch from a Push to Talk calling plan to another calling plan, you must first stop using your Push to Talk-capable phone and purchase or provide another compatible phone.
